[Sussex] Kernel re-compile?

Just to liven things up a little:

One of the great things about a package managed distributions is that
you can make your own kernel packages - his makes it easier to store and
reuse your kernel (and save compile time), a very useful thing if you're
building several machines or rebuilding one machine a lot.

We do it all the time here in order to support kernel modules that are
not likely to hit Debian stable anytime soon (ndiswrapper, bergdata,
etc..).
