[Sussex] Scary PC fry-up

Angelo,

Marriage may not be such a block to building a new PC (cue deep laugh
with reverb)..

If your partner has a PC, look for any signs that it might be on the way
out, then offer to build her a new one. It would be only fair, after a
decent but not too long interval, when somehow your own PC displays
worrying symptoms of trouble, for you to build a new one for yourself.

This worked for me, although my partner's PC really was dying (bad HDD
blocks), was rather old (P166) & she depends on it for her business.
Also, my own PC really did cook itself. However, there is a glorious
thing called creative licence....

Gavin.

BTW: The flat case from my partner's old PC made an excellent base for
an SBC based machine made from surplus stock from work. Should be very
handy as a second PC.
