I can't help you with that sort of modem - never used it... But somebody
else around here can probably help you

Sounds like you're looking for Samba

On samba (i.e. your linux box) set up a network share on the directory
of your choice. 

Then go to your windows box and map a drive letter to the network drive
and voila!
