[Sussex] I need a *helpful* error messageH

Hi all,

XMMS has gone very strange on me - it refuses to load for my usual user account.
No error message, the CLI just sits there and waits for me to Ctrl-C it.
However, XMMS works for every *other* user account, so there's nothing wrong
with the application itself. It's just me that can't run it. Other multimedia
apps work just fine.

Presumably, something in some config file somwehre is causing a problem. But
I've wiped the .xmms directory, with the same error, and I'm not aware of
anywhere else XMMS looks before loading.

I don't mind an app. going wrong when it gives me an error message to be going
on with. But it's not giving me anything at all, it's just refusing to start.

Anybody know how I can get it to tell me where its problem lies?

Cheers

Dominic
