In the previous version, there were two menu locations for this:

You controlled the options somewhere within Tools > Options
Then you did the actual tracking via Edit > Changes

I've got the OpenOffice.org Writer textbook for the previous version at
home. I can bring it to the next Moot for you to look at, if you're
interested. I don't really expect that the menu entries will have changed
out of recognition.
