[Sussex] Printer strangeness

Hi all,

I have "come home" to Debian Sarge on my main PC - very, very nice.

My PC is fine & all things are working as they should, but I also put
Sarge on Tracy's PC to dualboot with Win 98. Most things are fine, but
when I booted into Sarge yesterday on Tracy's machine, the printer (HP
Laserjet 4) started throwing out blank pages & wouldn't stop - we had to
disconnect the mains lead in the end - & this was after we came out of
Debian & booted back into Windows.

I have never had a printer behave in this way before, on either Windows
or Linux. I should be most grateful for any thoughts on the cause of the
problem.

BTW: When I set the printer up, I tried printing from OOo & it worked,
although the font size was a little larger than I would have expected.
