Hi All
I have been told that it's possible to several Linux boxes to have the
same IP address (e.g. 3 boxes with 192.168.1.100) which act as a form of
'load balancing' - the person thought it was called Virtual IP
addressing??

The way I believe it works is similar to network browsing 'elections', the
switch will broadcast a message to all the boxes and one elects to
answer... I need something similar for a load balancing solution?

Sorry the information is really vague, but can anyone shed any light on
this and or advise me of a good solution?

Many thanks in advance

Paul
