I must admit to not being a strict follower of things being open, I use what
I find easy at the time.

I have the non-free flash plugin on ubuntu which plays swf files fine in
firefox.

Putting the issue of not using flash files for the videos/screencasts does
anyone know how well the gpl libflash stuff works ie: swfplayer
