[Sussex] Advice and Opinions on a laptop purchase please?

Haven't used any of those laptops, and I don't know whether you're a
Dell fan, but I got a Dell Inspiron 6000 from Dell Outlet store for just
under 500 quid. Ubuntu Breezy (and Hoary actually) detected and
correctly configured everything (including Intel PRO 2200BG wireless
mini-pci card with ipw2200 driver) apart from the SD card reader first
go.  No problems at all.  Really nice laptop... should last me for a
good few years.
