Remember shampoo is dissolved in water. Do NOT be tempted to use any
chemicals. Remember that water is the most universal of solvents.
A soft 1/2" paintbrush is useful and just allow plenty of time to dry.
I am well used to washing out TVs etc. The water is never a problem in
itself and given sufficient air and sufficient time the electronics
should be as good as new.
Water into sealed components is obviously a problem but a little care or
some masking tape can help.
Drying boards on edge allows any water to run down.
Avoid any forced drying. But air lines if available can help.
