Spot on with your guess.

I love the idea of a 3 sec boot time and will look into it as I was
considering using pxes/tftp.

Not sure X will do the trick as I will also like to logon from
windows, hence freenx.

Does anyone know if pxes will work over wifi? That would be impressive!
