Hi!

I'm hoping someone can help me!

I'm trying to set up a USB drive to be a boot device that'll launch Damn
Small Linux as an alternative method of accessing a PC. I'm hitting a
couple of problems and i was wondering if anyone could point out how I'm
being stupid:

1. It doesn't matter what I do my home PC just boots normally not off
the USB drive (its dual bootable Windows/Linux but surely it doesn't
matter what is on the hard drives if USB is set higher than IDE in the
BIOS - I'd think there was a problem with the drive's bootability but
see 2 below).

2. On my work PC it boots to DSL fine and it reports the mouse okay but
when it hits the GUI in fact there is no response from the mouse. So how
do I get it to respond?

Hope someone can shed some light!

John
