Moving a harddisk from one machine to another.
I do this quite frequently and simply use the 'upgrade' facility booting 
from the CD. There are no worries which cable or master or secondary the 
disk is placed on.
Using Lilo we can mix and match hard disks but, we always need to do the 
upgrade once we we have connected things, takes just 10 minuites with 
Mandriva. This is also required since we may be using some different 
hardware such as graphics.
