Geoff,

You were also the one who first greeted me on my first visit to one of 
the monthly meetings. I worked in Germany for several months (many years 
ago) and have revisited several times, including last summer. It is a 
beautiful well organised country and, contrary to the British 
perception, I found the natives friendly and helpful.
