[Sussex] Resizing linux disk partition

'gparted' (http://gparted.sourceforge.net) is an excellent tool for 
increasing the size of a partition.
Remember that you can move the tail end of a partition, but if you wish 
to move the front end then the only way (that I know of) is to back-up 
the data (on another harddisk etc) and then to delete and re-create the 
required partition.

In any case it is always good practice to back-up any data first as 
manipulating partitions is always risky.
