ubuntu. I decided to get KDE 3.3 and unwisely put a link to the main
debian site (they warn about this on the ubuntu site, I found out after the
fact) and now sound on KDE does not work and XMMS refuses to load in both gnome
and KDE desktops. On bootup/login to KDE it complains about MIME / OCTET
stream being wrong or missing. Any ideas apart from re-install to fix
it? I tried setting all links to ubuntu hoary and then apt-get
upgrade. No luck however. Plus, both desktops are now more sluggish
- I may do a re-install in any case.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>
