setting your card to use ad-hoc, have you tried it in "infrastructure" mode
instead? Isn't adhoc more for using between 2 wifi cards/devices without

have you given to the wireless settings in the router, as opposed to the client
card settings? You don't have only a limited IP range available, or any MAC
