I only recently switched from routing my email through my ISP to using Gmail as my online mailbox so have only just got to check how Gmail copes with the asc/txt thing, and you are correct it displays correctly whereas my ISP's webmail did not. Another reason to have made the switch!
<br><br>The problem at my end related to having to use Outlook Express to do what I needed (the only mail client that did, even Outlook was of no use in this respect) which is the original reason to switch mail from the ISP. Hopefully soon I'll have everything organised sensibly and can ditch the M$ products entirely!
