<div dir="ltr">I have used VideoLAN on Windows and didn't know it was available for Linux<br><br>I have visited the VideoLAN website and found the link for Mandriva Linux, however I cannot fathom out how to actually download and run it, the link does not seem to link to an actual download - there are just some instructions about updating Mandriva 2007! but I have 2008.1<br>
<br>I must admit I still find downloading on Linux a complete mystery, I just haven't got the measure of it yet<br><br>this is a desperate cry for help and enlightenment!!<br><br>Steve Redshaw (still a green Linux explorer)<br>

The best Open Source media player has just had a seriously big update.<br>
There are a lot more codac's beening supported by it. To nice to use<br>
the same app on Linux, Windows and Mac's.<br>
