Oh. So much for prior suggestion, then. Try these instead.
 
/usr/share/doc/lilo-(version-number)/doc/Technical_Guide.ps
/usr/share/doc/lilo-(version-number)/doc/User_Guide.ps

They are not manpages and so you need not hate them.
