I have a SuSE 7.2 server at home running DHCP server
I have a Sony Notebook which dual boots SuSE 7.2 qnd XP-pro (spit!)
I have a Windows NT-4 server at work running DHCP server (spit again!)

when I boot my notebook in XP at home or work, I get a valid DHCP lease and
can access the network.

When I boot my Notebook in Linux at work, I get a valid DHCP lease from my
Windows NT-4 server.

When I boot my notebook in Linux at home, I DONT get a valid lease from my
SuSE 7.2 server?

I include below the output from 'ifconfig' on the two different boot
locations.

How could this be? Linux being less helpful than THE-OTHER server?
