I believe the problem is that the name "Earth Cymru' is deemed by FoE 
Cymru to be too close to their name, and they have asked them to change 
it.

I think some of the prganisers fell out with foE and got chucked out 
[no implication as to who was to blame] so there is bad blood there too.

But it is awful, and ultimately nothing to do with this project - which 
looks great.
