the standard on this list is *not* to top post.

if you expect help and assistance from others its probably worth just
trying to fit in and not create too much of a stir or a flame war.

people who arsey on irc or make a point of not complying with standards
on mail lists usually find themselves being added to to my ignore file
or a mail rule created to delete there mail.

in my experience a 4 line signiture is the norm.
