[SWLUG] mail clients choice

I've recently gotten my HSP World Micromodem working under Slackware 9 
(connecting to Freeserve):

Anyhow, I've tried Opera's M2 email client and don't like the lack of rules 
... I've grokked the filters paradigm quicker than I thought I would, but I 
want to be able to auto-forward replies and stuff like that. I have a 
pop/smtp account (and access hotmail but can use a http2pop type program if 
necessary).

Any reccommendations for mail progs. I don't want to run a server and prefer 
a gui prog (not pine!). Currently using KDE3.

I'm thinking I'll try Kmail next, does anyone have any better suggestions?
