possible rpm --rebuild or something?  not sure, been ages.

depends how you installed in the first place.

cannot remember offhand what, if any, tools can resize a drive.  got a
copy of partition tragic?  remove some free space, resize, then fdisk
/dev/<hd number>, format, copy data,  reinstall.

otherwise ftp the data to a local machine? or is that not an option?

just a rambling thought.  excuse me if it doesn't make sense.
