Hi Steve,

I use TMPEG Encoder and DVD Author in WINE and they seem to be OK.  
Initially I had the same issue with the directories, but that was the 
system not showing the mounted Windows drives at all.  Once the drives 
could be read I had no problems with the video encoding.  The only 
reason I keep Windows is for video work as well.
