I have a NTL cable modem its an NTLhome 100.

I have had it connected to the net with Mandrake 10 but I dont like that
operating system I prefere SUSE, it Mandrake seemed to find and connect no
problem (makes a change) but I am running it connected to a 10/100 ethernet
card which it seems may make a difference reading the other posts.

Suggest getting a card they are not expensive, as they are it seems faster
than the USB connection from what I have been told.

SUSE 9 , 9.1 & 9.2have had no problem connecting at all, I suggest you nip
down to WH Smiths and grab the Latest Linux mag they have the full Suse 9.2
on the coverdisk, it went on no problems for me.

Alun
