Yes, I've had the Intel cards running flat-out with 802.1q VLAN support 
and 802.1d bridging/STP both turned on with no problems.

I've not played with jumbo frames much, but if you're going to play with 
them it's worth remembering that your switches need to support jumbo 
frames too.
