[SWLUG] ps2 mouse polling rate

clearly my google-fu is not upto scratch, i cannot seem to find confirmation 
of whether or not i can change the poll rate for a ps2 mouse, it might help 
me in some of my game which i play under wine, although nothing could 
actually make me good! can anyone enlighten me? all i've found is a reference 
to 'samplerate' in xorg.conf, but this is supposedly only for some logitech 
mice
