Thanks for all the advice/suggestions re mobile internet.  HTC Hero worked
perfectly in the end.  It has built in tethering software that 'just
worked'.  Dead chuffed with that.  Quite surprised really.

Should be getting my web connection sorted by Friday, so it'll all be moot
then for a while.

Still looking for a decent multi-function printer tho....

Oh and sorry for all the crap that my web client has punted out.  Didn't
realise it did that.  I'll have to see what's up with it.
