Thanks Michael for that reply, I now know that my emails are sending again.

That switching slowly on and off a few times gambit came from Virgin 
help, they told me there had been a spate of such disorders a while 
back.  Perhaps switching hastens the reallocation.

Is there an easy way to get what one sends to a list to appear in its 
proper place in your in box, or does one have to remember to send to 
oneself as well as the group.
