Hi,<br><br>Just a quick 'thanks' to all that helped me out with my backup.<br><br>The server got rebuilt and restored without loss of a single byte<br>of data (that I know of...). All 120GB worth of files and permissions <br>
are intact. <br><br>As a learning exercise, I tried all of the suggestions made, and<br>they all worked (with varying degrees of fiddling) and I learned<br>a lot in the process. <br><br>The only thing that remains is to get the Samba perms. sorted,
