new second hand machine advertised on ebay. So naturally I used the windows
machine because it is next to the phone to get at the listing. Nothing worked
after half an hour checking network cables rebooting I gave up and used the
linux machine wrote down the details and phoned went back to the other machine
for more details. A real pain.</FONT></DIV>

popular free windows fire wall was responsible. Fiddling with it my internet
connection came back.Tonight I hear that two family members running microsnot

have sent out an automatic update that interferes with everyone's Zone Alarm
firewalls.</FONT></DIV>
