<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;">Started up the pc and then entered the BIOS to change boot-sequence so that the "Live CD" would load. The disk loaded but before the Ubuntu screen appeared a screen full of different colors appeared for a few seconds but other wise everything went well.<br><br>Opened a terminal and typed: sudo fdisk -l and this was the output:<br>ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ sudo fdisk -l<br><br>Disk /dev/sda: 160.0 GB, 160041885696 bytes<br>255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 19457 cylinders<br>Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes<br>Disk identifier: 0x2527a2c7<br><br> Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System<br>/dev/sda1

go well. I did select the option to "use entire disk" and that was it.<br><br>But when the installation had finished i was told to remove the "live CD" from the tray and click on enter, which i did. I also during the restart took the opportunity to change the boot-sequence back so that the new OS would load from the hard drive.<br><br>Upon restart everything was going great. The Ubuntu screen and the progress bar appeared along with the words: routine ch. Which lasted for about 30 seconds. Then this disapeared to be replaced in the bottom left of the screen with the words: <br><br>Analog RGB<br>1280 x 1024 / 28hz<br>Out of Range and that was it! <br></td></tr></table><br>
