<p class="MsoNormal">As businesses grow their digital presence, the challenge of maintaining their server infrastructure grows with them. With a small number of machines and services, it is entirely possible for servers to be built and maintained individually
and on-premises. As the business grows however, the challenge of maintaining secure and consistent configurations across on-premises and cloud infrastructure is huge. Immutable Infrastructure is an approach that combines the latest in configuration management
and orchestration tooling, with a philosophy that ensures consistency. The maintenance of servers is replaced with the curation of Infrastructure-as-Code repositories that automatically deploy trusted, atomic images to your infrastructure. In many cases, this
can lead to improved efficiency, but more importantly confidence in the integrity of your services<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">This talk will introduce the problems that Immutable Infrastructure can solve, situations where it does and does not add value, challenges to the adoption of Immutable Infrastructure and some solutions to them, and finally an introduction
to some tooling and methodologies to get started.<o:p></o:p></p>
