After 2 years the solderless breadboard failed. The contacts got rusty. The relay board I was using also has rusty connector pins. The Pi Pico after 2 years is a bit grubby but will now be repurposed as will the relay board. The breadboard is destined for the bin.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I replaced it with a custom circuit which has a TIP120 doing the high-side 12v switching, a buck converter (of which one of the 4 bought from ebay actually worked), a diode and a resistor. The CPU is an ATTiny13 which was challenging to code. I ended up writing a python program to generate the C++ code I needed.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">It's all in a little plastic box and protected more from the dampness of my outdoor concrete cupboard.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Having done that I'm busily 3D printing a gimbal to use with two servoes and a laser. I've not looked but would not be amazed to find that since this is just like a 2 dimensional 3D print, somebody has already got software to do this and all I have to do is to put a drawing into Tinkercad or similar.</div><div><br></div><div class="ydp444ea84signature">Rhys Sage</div></div></div></body></html>
