<div>What software are you using to stream your Video files? When you say you see a page that says it works, perhaps this is the default apache page?</div>

<div>If your streaming information from your server you do not need samba unless your trying todo something specific with permissions/authentication/file sharing with Linux and Windows. </div>

I do like to do a bit of videoing in my spare time and thoght it would be good to show them to my friends and family. I am tying to stream video from my home made server at home. At the moment I am trying to use Suse Linux Enterprise Server 10 (SLES 10). On the server I can see the default web page which just says 'It Works' but I cannot see the page from any of the other computers on the network. Do I have to set up a Workgroup first so that I can see the server and the other computers together, or do I need Samba.
