Excellent thought, these are VERY effective.

One of our regional volunteers in the Motorcycle Action Group made up 
some mini-cards (single fold card the size of a business card when 
closed) with a bit of info about MAG, the national web site address and 
a list of the local groups and meeting times/places. Most active members 
in the region have a couple in their pockets and when they meet someone 
in a bike park or some such, give them a card. This simple approach has 
lead to a definite increase in attendance at local group meetings.

It's worth getting this right as it will definitely help.
