Yes.  In fact I'm on Freeserve ADSL.

It uses the Alcatel Speedtouch USB modem which has drivers for Linux.

There is a script available for Debian which (supposedly) does pretty 
much everything(except the kernel ppp modules bit) for you.  Mandrake 
has an RPM available.  If you do it the Hard Way(as I did) it is quite 
easy to get in a pickle with the modem though, but once it is up and 
running you can basically forget about it.

Which distribution are you using?
