I'm not great at doing stuff like this but you will
need pcmcia_cs installed, it probably will be. Then
try insmod modulename to load the correct module. If
you're not sure which one it is, look at
http://pcmcia-cs.sourceforge.net and particularly the
Supported Cards page to see which module you need.
Somebody else will be able to tell you how to make it
load the module automatically on boot.

To edit your network settings, you need to edit
/etc/network/interfaces and thats just about it.
