I was looking into this kind of thing a while back,
though I still have to get around to doing it. The 4MB
Linux Laptop howto is at

http://website.lineone.net/~brichardson/linux/4mb_laptops/4mb_Laptops.html

The advantage you have is that you have more than 4MB
RAM which makes life a lot easier, but you can read
this if it helps.

The 2 Linuxes it recommends are

http://www.superant.com/smalllinux and

http://mulinux.sunsite.dk

The 4MB Laptop howto really is a bit specialist as
booting a kernel in 4MB of RAM is difficult, but you
can use it as a resource all the same.

You could also look at the Debian floppies
installation at
http://www.debian.org/distrib/floppyinst

You could also have a look at http://www.linux.org
which has a list of pretty much every distro going and
you can filter them based on what you want. There were
quite a few I looked at but I was restricted by the
4MB thing.

http://linux-laptop.net has a Toshiba section but they
don't have that model. They have the T2130 but the
link is broken.

Other than the above you can try older versions of
your favourite distribution.

Hope that helps :)
