it'll be already compiled. try just doing "./firefox"
normally a package whcih requires you to compile it will have "src" 
somewhere in it. Otherwise assume it's binary. THere are often 
README/INSTALL type files which you can read (hint: less someFile.txt) 
to give you a clue.
