[Wolves] Ubuntu trials

Based on the problems and questions that people raise about hardware and
compatability.. Does anyone else think it would be worth while if we ran
our own 'hardware list'
Simply, a page on the wolves site, connected to a DB, with information
about peoples machines 'mobo, grphx, etc etc' so that we have the
ability to see what people are using and then after that ask questions
about it.. 
Manufacturers are reluctant to state that they will work with Linux, and
rely on people trying the hardware to see if it works..
I think it is a good idea, and falls into Robs request for a group
wiki..
