Hi All

Well I was hoping to be Billy big bollocks and tell you all I had got ubuntu
working on Virtual PC 2004.

Its loaded, the updates took ages I pity anyone on a dial-up connection.
Unfortunatly the display is crap I have a black background and coloured
pixels, it looks like it could be menus but who knows.

I messed about with the XF86Config-4 file using vi as it looked like the
default rates were wrong, I'm using a Dell D1028LR Horizontal (line) 30 to 69
kHz (AutoScan), Vertical (frame) 50 to 120 Hz (AutoScan) I think the dpi is
wrong but I cant see were to change that.

It would have been good if it had worked as so far this is the only Linux OS I
have managed to install under Virtual PC all the others got upset.

I think I'll stick to Fedora and Suse (when I've re-installed the bloody Suse)

:-)
