What i'm after is ease of use. It's taken me ages to get my site going, i've
had to learn basic html and get someone to host it for me. I don't know if my
provider lets me use scripts, I doubt they wont let me near any apache
configuration, so some options are allready dead in the water. For now i'm
gonna stick with gthumb. I will investigate these other options when i leave
telewest and host my own server. No space limits or what not then. I'm also
having real problems compressing my images as my site is about novice
photography and I'm only allowed 200Kb max upload per file my 6mb images
start to look crappy at lower res.

Thanks for the help guys, no doubt I'll be asking alot of apache questions
when I start to do that...but for now if you can be bothered see my site. or
wait till the morning when the update is done!!
