got the linmodem on my wifes laptop to work problem is though when you try to switch it on comes up with can not access modem. Found out the /dev/modem was down as root:root as was ttySHSF0 which I can cahnge with chmod or chown, but when I restsart the modem is back to how it was how can I change this so it is permanent -- Seek That Thy Might Know
