Now I'm getting a brain bleed.

If I do /xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (IP) I get the Apache test page (with a bit I 
modified to prove I was looking at it in /htdocs)

If I do /localhost I get the Apache test but whithout the bit I added to the 
page!!!! Hows that work??? there cant be two index.php pages.

If I do /localhost/index.php I get object not found.

I can see me having to wipe and start all over again.
