I would agree, doubtless many egs of Windows collapses can be
attributed to this kind of thing...however, having had 18 mths getting
to grips with Linux and 6 mths trying to get this dratted drive
working with it, I wish Linux could be more accommodating, or at least
more informative as to what the problem is using a good ol' GUI.

Roll on Project Utopia?
