If it was limited to one email recipient per mail and some sort of 
restriction to prevent automated repetitive postings then it would not 
be useful for spam.
As to a legitmate use for such a service, then
1) Whistleblowing - say discussing crime on a forum, where you might 
feel be targetted by the criminals - ie reporting wrongdoing by police 
etc, or reporting dole fraud etc.
2) err can't think of any others....
