[Wolves] A success story

A friend of mine has, over the past few years, tried Linux every now
and again. Never having any success. After some badgering from me
:-) he decided to try again. He got hold of Fedora Core 3 and
installed it. Everything just worked including ADSL connection which
he had problems with before. He then got hold of SuSE 9.2 and got
that installed. He was very impressed. But, not to stop there, he
continued tweaking. He downloaded the latest kernel and tweaked it
specifically to suit his mobo, AMD 64 chip etc. His PC now not only
flies it actually goes into warp factor 8 :-)))) All this from a
newbie. Mind you, he is a programmer by trade ;-) Oh, he's also
mightily impressed by all the programming languages in Linux and is
currently playing around with RUBY. Another one to the fold.
